About
The loan officer database.
LenDb.ai is a free, independent record of US mortgage loan officers and the lenders they work for, built so that AI assistants, search engines and people can all find the right loan officer for a specific situation.
Most people find a loan officer through whoever their agent or bank happens to know. That works until your situation is unusual: a non-warrantable condo, a duplex bought with self-employed income, a VA loan with a tight timeline. Then you need someone who has done it before, is licensed where the property is, and maybe speaks your language.
LenDb exists to answer that question well, with structured, sourced data that an assistant can read, rank and cite.
Principles
- No lead capture. We never see who you contact or how. We count aggregate page views, nothing more. No forms, no lead selling, no tracking.
- Lender-neutral. No lender pays to appear, and no lender pays to rank higher. Every ranked list explains why each person is on it.
- Every fact is sourced. Each fact carries where it came from and when it was last verified, so people and AI assistants can check it and cite it.
- Bots first. Every page has a Markdown and JSON twin, and the whole database is available through a public API and an MCP server. If an agent cannot use a feature, it is not done.
- No protected-class tags. Specialties describe property types, loan programs, borrower situations and languages. Never race, religion, sex, marital or familial status, age, national origin or disability.
Where the data comes from
State regulator license lists, federally registered loan officer lists published by banks and credit unions, and the loan officer directory pages lenders publish themselves. Loan officers can claim their profile and add to it, and those additions are labeled as self-reported. We do not scrape NMLS Consumer Access, and we do not scrape LinkedIn.
What LenDb is not
Not a lender. Not a referral service. We do not take referral fees or sell leads, and we do not quote rates or take applications. Verify licenses at NMLS Consumer Access.
Status
LenDb is coming soon. The API and MCP server are live with clearly labeled sample data so developers and AI agents can integrate today. Questions or corrections: bot@lendb.ai.
